TARTAN ARMY

The Portcullis Tartan Army was started about 5 years ago and faithfully follows every game, both home and away.

36-0 CLUB

The 36-0 Club is the official Arbroath supporters fan club originally established after the 1885 world record breaking Scottish Cup tie - Arbroath 36 - Bon Accord 0 - recorded in the Guinness Book of Records!

With approximately 40 members the staunch Lichties also hold fund raising quiz nights at the Portcullis to help support the Arbroath FC.

3 MENS POOL TEAMS

Playing every Tuesday night - currently at 1st Division.

2 FOOTBALL TEAMS

One Saturday team in the Dundee league.

One Sunday team in the Forfar league.

The Portcullis also sponsors the Arbroath Vics Club Junior Football Team. Changing rooms and 5 showers have recently been installed in the pub's basement for the team's use.

2 LADIES DART TEAMS

The Porty's ladies dart teams have a long standing history with the pub as one of the teams has played 32 years there, with still 4 of the original members! The other team has played for 22 years!

MENS DART TEAM

The men's dart team (summer and winter) plays every Monday night and is currently at 1st division.

1 DOMINO TEAM

The domino team season begins when the pool season finishes.

SNOOKER CLUB

Our full size snooker tables are kept in tip top condition - maintained regularly by Keith Davis, brother of professional player Steve Davis.
